It’s back! Families can now sign up for our 2026 scenic riverside challenge to support Able Child.
The Steps for Change – Children’s Challenge takes place on Sunday, 20 September 2026. Participants will run, stroll or roll along the River Thames. The route spans from Kingston Bridge to Hampton Court Palace…and back!
Event Highlights
- Inclusive Format: Open to runners, power walkers, scooters, wheelchairs, and buggies.
- Flexible Distance: Choose between a full 10K loop or a 5K one-way option.
- Midway Stop: Free snack and refreshments!
- Free Gear: All registered entrants receive a free T-shirt.
Schedule & Fundraising
- Registration Opens: 9:00 AM
- Challenge Starts: 9:45 AM
- Event Concludes: 11:45 AM
- Entry Fee: £10 per participant (Supervising adults join for free).
- Fundraising Goal: Target of £200 per participant to fund Able Child’s projects.
An early-bird discount of 20% is available until the end of May 2026.
