Join our Board of Trustees
We are looking for an experienced and passionate finance professional to join Able Child’s Board of Trustees as our new Treasurer.
This is a unique opportunity to use your financial expertise to help shape the future of a charity working alongside partners across Africa to ensure children and young people with disabilities can access their rights and thrive.
As Treasurer, you will provide strategic financial oversight, support our Chief Executive and Board, and help ensure Able Child remains financially strong, well governed and able to maximise its impact.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in charity finance, financial management, accounting or audit. Previous trustee experience is welcome but not essential.
We know that diverse perspectives strengthen decision making and warmly encourage applications from people of all backgrounds. We are particularly keen to hear from women, people with disabilities, and applicants with lived experience of or strong connections to the communities we work with across Africa.
If you would like to use your skills to make a lasting difference for children with disabilities, we would love to hear from you.
