Description
Mount Kilimanjaro Charity Trek 2026
About the challenge
Climb the highest freestanding mountain in the world and help children with disabilities in Africa at the same time! Mt Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the African continent at 5895m. When it comes to charity challenges, it’s a great one. Its snow-capped summit rises high above the dusty African plains; huge permanent glaciers flow down from the summit, spectacular views and beautiful ice formations are the reward for pushing your limits both physically and mentally.
Following the Machame route, which is the most popular on Mt Kilimanjaro, it provides impressive views and hiking through a variety of habitats. The route is recommended for its good acclimatisation profile.
