Announcing ‘Momentum’ a series of talks on different aspects of our work and issues that affect children with disabilities in Africa.
Join us for the fourth live event in our Momentum series.
This event will explore how the child to child approach can be applied to inclusive education programming and how the approach can improve the quality of education for children with disabilities.
The panel will discuss how child to child methods are helping children gain skills in inclusive education and beyond.
We are pleased to announce that chairing the event will be Oli Kelly-Dean. Oli is a programmes officer at Able Child Africa and has managed and designed child to child and disability-inclusive programmes. As well, he has worked in international development programming and capacity building for the past 6 years with a range of NGO’s. The event will also have a range of panellists who will share their expertise in the child to child for inclusive education:
- Gloria Geria, National Coordinator in Child to Child Unit and leading academic at Kyambogo University
- Wycliff Odong, Child-Centred Disability Inclusion Expert, Uganda
- Hildergade Mehrab, Programme Manager (Inclusive Education Expert), Child Support Tanzania
- Alice Ford, Programme Manager, Able Child Africa
This event will be taking place on a bespoke site in partnership with Kujenga on Tuesday 22nd March at 10.30 am GMT.
